I wanted to share my recent experience as a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador elite member (The status I’ve had since June 2018).
Shortly after checking into my complimentary suite upgrade at my current hotel (Renaissance Tampa), the hotel supervisor brought a large gift basket to my room. It came with a Thank You letter for my loyalty, which also stated I will receive 60,000 bonus points.
I was then invited to meet with the hotel management team, who showed me around and welcomed me to their community. For example, I am permanently invited to their events, and they invited me to do a book signing at their hotel.
I am an author (access here) who has recently written about living in hotels. My book is called Hotel Sweet Home, available on Amazon (access here). I have mentioned your site in my book multiple times, since it’s so useful for anyone interested in loyalty points, hotels, and travel.
Not sure if all Ambassador members are eligible for this 60,000 points Surprise & Delight gift when they are redeeming at the moment. The case that we had on Friday last week was similar but without the gift basket that must have been provided here by the Renaissance.
Libby has some interesting book coming out (wasn’t yet available on Amazon) that I need to check out.
